It was founded in the year 1988 to answer the need to access Waldorf education in Seattle. To this date, they have approximately 195 students and are offering a variety of programs for preschool, elementary and high school levels.

The campus is located at the St. Nicholas Building in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.
