"Air Boss' outstanding performance on iTunes is a direct result of the quality production qualities that our loyal fans around the world have come to expect," commented Anthony Nalli, producer and creator of Air Boss and The Aviators. "Air Boss is poised to reach a huge, adjacent audience that includes the 12 million fans that regularly attend air shows, in addition to the many millions of passionate aviation fans around the world."
Air Boss is a 'reality docuseries' that follows Wayne Boggs, the most famous 'air boss' in the world and brother of Boston Red Sox legend Wade Boggs. He is often referred to as the 'conductor' at the center of the air show orchestrating the planes, and is revered by both aviation performers and fans. A retired Marine, the sometimes-intense Boggs is also the recipient of the International Council of Air Shows’ (ICAS) “Sword of Excellence” award, which is among the most prestigious awards in the industry.
Air Boss is currently airing on Travel Channel in the UK and Asia as well as Discovery throughout Europe. In North America, GRB Entertainment (Intervention, Untold Stories of the ER, Pregnant and Dating) continues discussions with several large broadcast networks for commercial airing in the U.S. and Canada.
Five subsequent episodes will be available on iTunes each Saturday starting August 9th. Fans can access and download the new series in stunning high-definition by visiting itunes.airboss.tv.
