Don’t Miss the BMW Un4gettable Test Drive Event at Motor Werks BMW

Aug. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Chicagoland drivers will have the exclusive opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of the exquisite new BMW 4 Series models at the BMW Un4gettable Test Drive Event, Tuesday, August 12 at Motor Werks BMW (http://www.motorwerksbmwbarrington.com/cities/bmw-dealers-chicago/). The one-day event is open to the public and will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. at their dealership located at 1475 S. Barrington Rd. in Barrington.

Wider, lower, and with a much more aggressive styling than the 3 Series, the BMW 4 Series is the perfect combination of sophisticated refinement and uncompromising performance. First introduced last year, the BMW 4 Series initially was offered only in coupe or hardtop convertible models. Added to the line-up for 2015 is the Gran Coupe, a 4-door hatchback that is styled like a coupe.

The exterior design of all three models is quite distinctive and eye-catching, and the interior is lush and meticulously crafted. The 2-door coupe and convertible provides seating for 2, while the Gran Coupe comfortably accommodates up to 5.

All models are loaded with comfort, convenience, and tech features such as automatic climate control, auto-dimming side and rearview mirrors, USB/iPod interface, Bluetooth phone and audio, and the BMW iDrive system. The Gran Coupe also features a power liftgate.

There are several options packages available that add such features as leather upholstery, a navigation system, rearview camera, and head-up display. Many of the features included in the specific options packages are available as stand-alone options.

Chicago area drivers will be thrilled with the 2 powerful and efficient engines offered. The base level engine is a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder that provides 240 hp with 255 lb-ft of torque, while the upper trim offers a turbocharged 6-cylinder with an output of 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to the rear wheels.

EPA estimated fuel economy ranges from 31 mpg highway to 35 mpg highway, depending on the model/engine configuration.
