Retha Jones Set to Appear on 'Beast and Beauties' Pay Per View Comedy Special

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Aug. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Comedienne Retha Jones is scheduled to appear on a live stream comedy special,"Beast and Beauties," available through Pay Per View with the official air date set for  August 5, 2014.

The show will be hosted by Dexter Smiles and will feature Jones along with other comedians including Jimmy O. Yang, Robert Powell, Derrick Keener.

Retha Jones is a national touring comedienne who has won several comedy competitions including the 1^st Annual California Comedy Festival and California’s Funniest Female Contest. She won the hearts of America as one of the Season 5 semi-finalists of NBC’s hit series, “Last Comic Standing.” Her television appearances including HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” BET’s “Comic View,” and “The View.”

As a show host, Dexter Smiles began his comedy career at Bird Lane West leading to his road career with comedy bookings at various colleges and military tours. He has shared the stage with top stars including Gerald Levert, Steve Harvey, Jaheim, Eric Benet, Sommore, Tommy Davidson, Dave Chapelle, Martin Lawerence, and Jamie Fox to name a few.
