By: The New Hope Automobile Show Gates open each day to the public at 9:00 am with the show running until 4:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased at the gate: $5.00 general admission; $3 senior citizens. Active Duty Military, Active Duty National Guard, and Active Duty Reserve personnel and their dependents attend for free (must show ID). Children age 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. “The New Hope Automobile Show is one of the oldest and most celebrated auto shows in the country,” said Steve Williams, New Hope Automobile Show committee member. “People can come Saturday and Sunday and see a different show each day. Saturday we feature domestic cars and Sunday is mostly foreign cars and motorcycles. We expect about 250 cars each day.” Awards are presented to first, second and third place winners in over 25categories each day. At 2:30 pm the winners participate in the Parade of Champions. All vehicles entered must be judge-ready. Since 1957, proceeds from The New Hope Automobile Show have provided funds for numerous Bucks County Charities and non-profit organizations as well as funding student scholarships to deserving New Hope-Solebury High School seniors.
