Gov't News: DoD Leaders Profiled on ExecutiveGov

The website published a number of profiles this week including Admiral Mike Rogers and the DoD's Jim Martin.

U.S. Navy Admiral Michael Rogers serves as commander of U.S. Cyber Command, director of the National Security Agency and chief of the Central Security Service.

Prior to these roles, he served as commander of both the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and the U.S. Tenth Fleet, with responsibility for all of the Navy’s cyberwarfare efforts.

During the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, Rogers joined the military’s Joint Staff, which works for the Joints Chief of Staff, where he specialized in computer network attacks.

James Martin serves as the director of defense intelligence for intelligence strategy, programs and resources at the Defense Department‘s office of the intelligence undersecretary.

He acts as the undersecretary’s principal staff assistant for all matters related to intelligence,surveillance and reconnaissance systems and recommends programmatic changes to defense intelligence functions.

Prior to this role, Martin also served as assistant deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence with responsibility for portfolio, programs and resources.
