Ben’s Promotes Todd Silverstein to Vice President

Aug. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers (http://www.bensdeli.net/) has announced that Todd Silverstein has been promoted to the position of Vice President. Mr. Silverstein previously served as General Manager of Ben’s Woodbury location.

In 1991, Mr. Silverstein joined Ben’s Restaurant Group. During that time, his father managed the Greenvale location and served in that capacity until 2007. He began working as a counter person at the former Ben’s Deli Express in Huntington Station, which was located in the Walt Whitman Mall. He later worked his way up the ranks to the position of Store Manager. In addition, his wife worked for many years at Ben’s and his two children are currently Ben’s employees.

As the Director of Catering — a role in which he continues to serve — he has been instrumental in building the Ben’s brand name throughout Long Island and Queens and overseeing the popularity of Ben’s BBQ service. For the past three years, he has participated in the New York Deli Experience for the members of U.S. Congress in Washington D.C. He has also hosted tours of school children at various Ben’s locations and worked with the Interfaith Nutrition Network, in which Ronnie Dragoon, Founder-Owner, Ben’s Restaurant Group, is a Member of its Board of Directors.

Mr. Silverstein was born in Queens and raised in Ronkonkoma. He currently resides with his family in Ronkonkoma.
