NEW YORK - Aug. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- The Bonez returns to MTV Iggy with the music video, Place of Fire, which is made in collaboration with Zippo Lighters to celebrate their special edition collection featuring the band’s logo with the iconic lighter brand. This is the band’s second time appearing on MTV Iggy after forming as an official group at the end of 2013. Earlier this year their video Needle and Thread (http://www.mtviggy.com/videos/the-bonez-thread-and-needle/) debuted in the US on MTV Iggy. And last year, lead singer Jesse McFaddin, appeared on the online platform with Access Violation which kicked off his Stand Up! project that lead to the eventual formation of The Bonez.

This collaboration with Zippo Lighters is yet another popular pairing for the group with internationally recognized brands but the first direct product integration into their music videos. Earlier this year they released an exclusive pair of specially designed headphones from Beats by Dre (known as the Samurai design) as a premium gift given away to fans buying the limited edition version of their sophomore album, Astronaut. Additionally, The Bonez as well as Jesse McFaddin on independent projects, have also teamed up with other iconic brands including Denon and Jack Daniel’s Honey.  2013 also saw two songs from The Bonez, Access Violation & Bossman, licensed to the popular video game, Killer Is Dead.

The Bonez is a rising mash up band featuring members from two iconic Japanese Rock bands RIZE (http://www.triberize.net) & Pay Money to My Pain (http://www.paymoneytomypain.com). Its members include Jesse McFaddin (Vocals & Guitar – RIZE), Naka (Guitar – ex-RIZE), Zax (Drums – Pay Money to My Pain), and T$uyo$hi (Bass – Pay Money to My Pain).  The group initially started as a short-term solo project from Jesse with his Stand Up! album that was released in 2012 under the name Jesse and the Bonez.  After numerous successful performances in Japan and across Asia at music festivals and high profile concerts, the members opted to pursue the band beyond a one-time album. In the Fall of 2013, the band updated their name to just The Bonez to signify their commitment. While Stand Up! offers a mix of Japanese and English lyrics, their second album Astronaut is sung entirely in English, making them perfectly poised to enter the international music market, especially in the Americas.
