Technology Partners sponsors AFS and DBU Military Employment Roundtable and Hiring Fair

DALLAS - Aug. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Technology Partners sponsors hiring fair at Dallas Baptist University (http://www.dbu.edu/about-dbu/directions) (DBU) August 12, 2014, with America’s Future Series (http://www.americas-fs.org/#!upcoming-events/c21kz) (AFS) for the military and spouses.  The roundtable and job fair will be free for the attendees, with over 55 corporations signed up to recruit at the event.

Companies value the work ethic, character and dedication taught in the Military and the fact that these characteristics are transferred to the work environment.  As thousands of active duty Military return to civilian life, it is vitally important that the skills, abilities, experience and leadership these men and women have gained through Military service in great abundance be used to the fullest extent possible.

The morning will start off with breakfast and a moderated roundtable where senior business executives and heads of Human Resources will share best practices on sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, mentoring, training, integrating, and retaining these Military personnel.  Following the breakfast roundtable, a Hiring Fair featuring approximately 55 major and mid-sized fast growing companies actively seeking Military to fill current jobs will be held in DBU’s Great Hall. Over 3,000 jobs have been posted by the 55 companies who will be present and ready to hire.  Resumes will be uploaded and available for the hiring companies to select qualified candidates to meet the needs of their organization.
