About the author: Dr Ken Mask was born in Hamlet, North Carolina and now lives in Louisiana. He is a fiction writer who has dabbled in different genres of fiction successfully. His series about Luke Jacobs, PI, is currently in motion picture and episodic television development under optioned agreement with actor Wendell Pierce. Ken has also written for medical journals including: The Annals of Thoracic Surgery; Surgical Rounds; The American Heart Association; Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and The Australian Radiological Journal. Dr. Mask has received a medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and his undergraduate in Philosophy from UNC Chapel Hill. He has completed a Health Professionals Program (HPP) at Harvard. He is also a certified by the American Board of Radiology member of the American College of Radiology, and has lectured on topics of radiology and surgery.
