Goldilocks Designs Greeting Cards Now Represented by Groups in NY, New England, WI, CA, OR

Aug. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Goldilocks Designs LLC, a greeting card company, debuted in May 2013 at the National Stationery Show at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. Due to the overwhelming response to their unique and inspiring cards, Allison Staffin, Company Principal and Designer, announced the expansion of their card line. The Goldilocks Designs card line, that speaks to the discerning buyer, can be found in upscale boutiques and gift shops, home and decorative accessories stores, museum shops, and florists.

Ms. Staffin creates her cards with quotes from sources as diverse as Kierkegaard to Dr. Seuss. These are combined with vintage photographs from old family albums and sources such as Vintage posters, sheet music, and other ephemera. Each card offers a personal message related to the quote.

She believes that greeting cards are a way to touch peoples' lives in a personal and meaningful way. “There is something beautiful in a handwritten card, it is an intimate form of expression." In this information age, greeting cards are becoming more and more important, and because of Facebook, more people are acknowledging birthdays than ever before. Today’s youth will likely continue the tradition of buying greeting cards as they become adults because this tradition has been deeply ingrained as a meaningful way of expressing personal affection and connecting with others in their lives.

Ms. Staffin holds a B.S. in Graphic Design and Advertising from the University of Delaware. She owned and operated Staffin Design Associates, a boutique design studio, specializing in consumer package design for nationally and internationally recognized brands for over 25 years.
