-- Sixteen year old country singer/songwriter Katryna Eastwood was invited to the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada to sing the national anthem for the CMSA Scully Western National Championship 2014. Katryna was at the event supporting her friends even though she was unable to shoot this year due to a horse injury when CMSA approached her about singing the National Anthem at their showcase. Katryna has sang for CMSA in the past at events such as Arizona State Championship and Southwest Regionals so once they heard of her arrival they were quick to ask her to do the National Anthem. “(Katryna)
has a reputation through CMSA or local cahpters for her version of the National Anthem. The people who haven’t heard her sing became a fan that night.” A source who attended the event told me. “I hope to see her at more events such as this. It’s not a common thing a girl who can ride a horse like her also has a voice like hers.”
Katryna is currently scheduled to sing at Arizona State Championships for ACMSA this September for the third year in a row. Katryna just released her first album "Small Town Roads" that has had great success.
