Follow on Google News | New Albany Implants Decides to Extend Warranty Policy for All Dental ImplantsDental clinic led by Dr. Receveur announces a big change to their current implant warranty, extending it from a 10-year guarantee to a lifetime warranty policy. A lifetime warranty is relatively rare among dental implant providers.
Although lifetime warranties are unusual in the industry, New Albany Implants, along with lead dentist Dr. Ronald Receveur, believe it is the best way to move forward with their implant offerings, especially since Dr. Receveur, with 30 years of family dental care experience under his belt, has a 98% success rate with implants. Dental implants are artificial tooth roots -- usually composed of titanium -- which are inserted into the jaw, and used to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. "If your implant or implants fracture or fail, we will replace or repair any fractured or failing implant at no charge to you for a lifetime,” reads the new warranty agreement that New Albany Implants is giving to patients. The warranty also covers facelift dentures, overdentures and fixed prostheses supported by implants. There are some limits to the warranty, of course. Though the implant is guaranteed forever, the prosthesis, or artificial tooth, is guaranteed for the first five years. Patients are also required to continue attending their scheduled appointments with Dr. Receveur so that oral health can be maintained. Additionally, they need to follow Dr. Receveur's recommendation for implant care, which includes not biting ice. When asked about New Albany Implants' decision to extend the warranty, Dr. Receveur was frank about their reasons for doing so. "Implants should last a lifetime," he explained. "We want our patients to know they are getting a smile that will last them the rest of their lives." End
