Veronica Kawka, Allie Mandel and Matt Griebel Join Forté PR

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Forté PR (http://www.forteprlv.com/) (FPR) is pleased to announce that Veronica Kawka and Allie Mandel have recently joined the agency as assistant account executives. Additionally, Matt Griebel has joined as an account and social media assistant.

Kawka assists with media relations for Forté’s local health and fitness accounts including the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, Desert Sky Adventures and the Smiles for Survivors Foundation. Kawka earned a master’s degree in professional writing and a bachelor’s degree in professional and creative writing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. A native of Las Vegas, she graduated from the Meadows School. She is a former nationally ranked tennis player, and when she’s not working or practicing her forehand, she likes to hike to the top of Calico tanks in Red Rock and enjoy the views.

Mandel comes from an agency background, having previously worked with dining and hospitality clients at a Las Vegas-based agency and as an associate at Fifty & Five, a full-service social media agency in Redondo Beach, California. At Forté, she supports national fitness and nutrition accounts including XYIENCE and Essentia Water. She assists with traditional media outreach and social media content and strategy. Mandel earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from Sacramento State University. She is an avid sports fan, and when not busy at Forté, can be found at the nearest stadium.

Griebel assists with coordinating blog outreach and social media for Forté’s clients. He is a proud UNLV Rebel majoring in integrated marketing communication and minoring in marketing. Griebel serves as the treasurer on the executive board for the UNLV chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and won the Hank Greenspun Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Excellence in April 2014. When he’s not writing for the Rebel Yell or buried in schoolwork, he enjoys working out at the UNLV Rec Center and attending classic rock concerts.
