Tommy Dies Elected Treasurer of Applied Systems Client Network

Aug. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Tommy Dies, Chief Financial Officer of Bryan Insurance Agency in Graham, Texas, was recently elected Treasurer of Applied Systems Client Network (ASCNet) at the association’s mid-year board meeting held in Chicago, Illinois.

Dies began working for Bryan Insurance Agency in 2002, and became involved with ASCNet in 2012 when he was elected to serve on their board of directors.  His two year term as Treasurer will begin January 2015.

ASCNet is an international association of members who all use insurance products developed by Applied Systems, Inc, a software developer based in University Park, Illinois.  ASCNet was created in the mid 1980’s by several insurance agents who had begun using a new computer system in their offices, developed by Applied Systems, Inc.  The agents got together to share information about the new system and began to work to help each other learn and solve issues to become more efficient and more profitable using the new system.

Today, ASCNet has grown considerably and is now an international association of members in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, with thousands of agencies as members.  ASCNet’s mission is to lead insurance business practices through education and advocacy.  Its largest educational event, Applied Net, hosts more than 2,000 participants in a multi-day conference offering hundreds of educational seminars.  This year’s conference will be held at the Swan & Dolphin resort in Orlando, Florida, September 15-18, where Rudy Giuliani will be the keynote speaker.
