Clif Bodiford CPAs merges practice into Scott and Company CPAs in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Aug. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Columbia, S.C.-based Clifton Bodiford CPA’s has merged its practice into Scott and Company LLC, and will operate under the Scott and Company brand, effective immediately.  Former Founder and Bodiford CPA firm principal Clif Bodiford and Dave Bodiford both join Scott and Company under the terms of the deal.

The leadership of both firms, each of which provides audit and assurance, tax and a range of consulting services to clients across the Southeast and internationally, voted unanimously to consummate the arrangement.  Members of the Bodiford CPA firm’s Columbia office have combined into Scott and Company’s Columbia, SC office.  Scott and Company also operates a Greenville office.

Bodiford CPAs was founded in Columbia in 1994 by Clif Bodiford, a veteran of Ernst and Young and former Arthur Anderson and Company partner.  In providing accounting, audit, tax and consulting services to South Carolina businesses, the firm developed a reputation for its expertise in serving banks, savings and loan associations, insurance companies and investment partnerships, along with small manufacturing and distribution business.
