DENVER - Aug. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- With 3D printing on the rise, the United States military has joined the leaders in industry innovation. Not only is the U.S. military taking notice, they are progressively developing projects and products that are benefiting soldiers and civilians alike.

With 3D printed food in the sights of United States military engineers, getting the job done was bound to happen. Providing nutritional fuel (food for us civilians) for our military personel is of course a requirement in the eyes of engineers and project managers assigned to the job.

The replacement of M.R.E.'s (meals ready to eat) is a side effect of being able to 3D print food. Not only would a variety of food be added to the miltary's food disbursement abilities, but a tastier more personal touch would come with the production of food via 3D printer.

Printing food that a soldier actually enjoys is an aspect of moral improvement that cannot be taken for granted. With the improvement of moral comes an increased engagement. Engagement in the mission assigned to a soldier isn't just important for the soldiers commanders, but our nation as a whole.

Providing our nation with a more realiable and engaged soldier by simply improving the food? That's something just about anyone can stand by.
