Newest Coconut Oil Product to be Introduced as Brain Superfood

OAKLAND, Calif. - Aug. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- A new product for coconut oil is currently in the implementation phase to bring it to the market.  This remarkably unique and original coconut oil formulation was discovered by American inventor Dr. Roger Hershline, who has a PhD in Chemistry and a medical degree. The product has been assigned a U.S. Patent Application Number 62,030,548 on July 29, 2014.

It formulates a coconut oil brand that is different and better whereby increasing the amount of Caprylic acid (eight carbon medium chain triglyceride) through adding MCT oil to the coconut oil creating a BRAIN SUPERFOOD.  The eight carbon fat is now actually used as a prescription drug for Alzheimer's disease called Axona. The pharmaceutical drug adds 20 grams of Caprylic acid.

Dr. Hershline’s formulation has a slightly different feel from pure coconut oil delivering a pharmaceutical amount of Caprylic acid whilst maintaining a well-balanced brain food product, this increases the half-life and decreases side effects of the pharmaceutical product.  The larger pharmaceutical company has proved that Axona works, however, this new product will be sold as a brain superfood that can be marketed as medicinal because it has a proven natural active.
