John Antonucci Appointed to Needham Bank’s Advisory Council

NEEDHAM, Mass. - Aug. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- August 1^st, 2014,WESTWOOD, MA – Needham Bank announced the appointment of Westwood resident and Superintendent of Westwood Schools, Dr. John Antonucci, to the Bank’s Advisory Council.

In addition to many other accolades during his tenure as Superintendent, John has formed lasting partnerships with community groups and recently Westwood High School was honored as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence recipient.

Before service as Westwood’s Superintendent, John worked as Assistant Superintendent of the Nashoba Regional School District and as Director of Finance for the Bedford Public Schools. An extremely dedicated advocate for public schools, Dr. Antonucci holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Northeastern University, an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Political Science from Tufts.

The relationship between Needham Bank, Dr. Antonucci and the Westwood Public Schools goes back many years.

John and his wife, Jen, live in Westwood with their three sons, Robbie, Andrew, and Jake. The family is tremendously involved with Hale Reservation, an organization Needham Bank shares a longstanding relationship with. In addition to his involvement with Hale, he is also a volunteer with the Westwood Community Chest, and is an elected member of the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendent Executive Committee.
