The Art 2C On Havana Street program has drawn international attention as a model of how art and aesthetics can positively impact an area’s economy. The program is jointly managed by the Havana BID and the City of Aurora’s Art in Public Places Program (AIPP). The current sculptures will remain in place until September. In October, a new set of sculptures (http://www.onhavanastreet.com/art2c20142015) will be installed on Havana Street for the 2014/2014 exhibition, which will be the fourth annual installment.

“Our arts program has been a principal contributor to the increased pride our member Aurora merchants and residents feel about the Havana corridor,” said Jetchick. “The sculptures showcase worthy artists, add beauty and draw people to the area. We’re very proud of the success of this program and hope people will let us know how they feel by casting their vote online (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q2HDHZV).”
