Jeanette Izzi Founder Mama Mia Biscotti
Founded in 2005, Mama Mia Biscotti started in Jeanette Izzi's home kitchen near Romeo, Michigan. She grew up watching her parents work in their Italian bakery where people came to buy the very best in fresh baked goods. As a married mother of three she enjoyed making cookies from those family recipes. After hearing one too many times, “your cookies are so good you should sell them”, she decided to do just that. Her approach was simple. Bake authentic Italian cookies, made with the finest ingredients. The demand grew and local markets began stocking their shelves with Mama Mia Biscotti. Today, the demand continues.
“The addition of Kroger to our store list is very exciting and speaks volumes about the authenticity of our product,” said Jeanette Izzi, owner of Mama Mia Biscotti LLC.
