Today Not Alone, LLC has announced the launch of their website at notalonesecurity.com (link to site)
Not Alone is an IT development company creating a sleek, fashionable smart-bracelet that will drastically improve the lives of senior citizens and their families. The goal of the device is to increase safety for seniors through emergency notifications and GPS location tracking in order to allow them to live independently.
“The goal my team had was to change the way our elders felt safe in and outside their home, and our technology can do that.” - Andrew Lynch, Chief Technology Officer of Not Alone
Not Alone is currently in the development phase building out the prototype of the device as well as trying to garner capital to expedite that process. They are launching their site in hopes to get people talking about the serious issues facing seniors and thinking about the ways to address it. Not Alone believes that they are the answer and want to show the public why they should feel the same. The team is truly committed to the project and the cause because they see the impact it could have even in their personal lives.
“My grandmother has had a history of falls and emergency hospital visits. She has used other devices on the market and she hates them. She says that they do not keep her safe outside of her home while also making her feel even older than she is because of how ugly the product is to wear.” - Alex Watler, Chief Executive Officer of Not Alone
We live in a rapidly changing society, and seniors are becoming more accustomed to technology and the benefits it can bring. Not Alone hopes to capitalize on this and provide senior with the help they both need and deserve. With their website launching, the first step in getting the conversation started has begun.
