Experienced Urgent Care and Occupational Health Physician Joins Urgent Medcare as Medical Director

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- Huntsville, Alabama/ July 28, 2014 – Urgent Medcare, a quality- and patient-focused urgent care leader in Huntsville, hired Dr. David James, an experienced urgent care and occupational health physician to lead the clinical staff as their Medical Director. With three centers in the Huntsville area, Urgent Medcare will benefit from Dr. James’ thirteen years experience leading urgent care centers in Kentucky.

Dr. James is a board certified family medicine physician, who has experience treating common acute and chronic medical issues in an urgent care setting. Additionally, as an experienced occupational medicine physician, he is a certified Medical Review Officer and Certified Medical Examiner, which are essential in offering local employers services like drug tests, physicals (e.g., pre-employment, respiratory, DOT), and worker’s compensation injury management. His experience will prove valuable in the oversight of the clinical processes, standards and staff of Urgent Medcare.
