Fagor Automation Selects System Insights to Deliver MTConnect Software Technology

Aug. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- System Insights, announced the company has been selected by Fagor Automation to deliver MTConnect software technology for use with Fagor controls.

Fagor Automation is known for the development and manufacturing of products for machine automation and control. The company focuses efforts on the machine-tool sector in more than 50 countries globally.

Rick Moran, President & COO of System Insights explained, “The partnership offers an exciting opportunity for System Insights to bring MTConnect capabilities to the Fagor product line.”    Moran also remarked that, “We can now market our monitoring and analytics platform - called VIMANA - through our own channel to clients using these MTConnect-enabled Fagor controls.”

Under this agreement, Fagor will bundle MTConnect adapter technology developed by System Insights with its 8055, 8065 and 8070 controller products.  Clients using this technology will be able to monitor equipment performance in real-time.  Both companies are exhibiting at IMTS in September, demonstrating these new capabilities.
