The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation Offers the Festivus Scholarship for the 2014-2015 School

DAVIE, Fla. - July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- Ft. Lauderdale—The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) announces the Festivus scholarship, a free online quiz competition for individuals who are not in school or for parents who are looking to earn scholarships for their children.

Festivus consists of two individual scholarships that run at different points in the year, with the first set of quizzes running from September to December and the second set from January to April. The result of each quiz is released shortly after participants complete it, and the top 25% of scorers move on to the championship round. The winner of the scholarship is awarded $250 towards the college of their choice. The quizzes are based on common knowledge and can be found on CKSF’s site, www.cksf.org, along with a cheat sheet that will show participants all the information that will be found in the quizzes.

CKSF, located at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, offers free opportunities for scholarships through quizzes, with no specific GPAs or essays. Scholarships are given based on accuracy and speed, with 500 points for every correct answer and subtracting a point for every second that the question is unanswered. Participants do have the option of Googling the questions if they are not sure of the answer. In fact, this is encouraged, since time does not heavily affect their score.

Quizzes with CKSF are fast and fun ways to apply for scholarships without the hassle of long essays or the high GPAs to qualify. Anyone can register, so do not hesitate to log onto www.cksf.org and participate!
