Southern Ocean County Chamber 100 Years Insider Guide

Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce Destination Marketing and Communications Director Lori Pepenella will be taking local business history to school this August. As part of the organization's 100th Anniversary, Pepenella will discuss the orgins, major milestones, key obstacles and current recognitions that have been allowed members of the Southern Ocean County Chamber to create one of the most successful Chambers in the state, as well as a globally accredited tourism office right in the heart of Long Beach Island.
The Insider's Guide to the Past 100 Years takes place on August 27 and there is no charge for the class, which runs 1 to 2pm at the Richard Stockton Manahawkin Instructional Site. In addition to a photo presentation that was prepared by board members and the Ocean County Culture and Hertitage Commission, Refreshments will also be served.
