Hall & Foreman, Inc. Appoints Chris Jones, P.L.S., Associate

July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- Hall & Foreman, Inc. (HFI), a civil engineering, land planning and surveying firm, announced the appointment of Chris Jones, P.L.S., as an associate of the firm. In his role as an associate, Mr. Jones will assist the firm’s senior management team in the areas of strategic planning, management, and development of company policy and procedures.

In making the announcement, HFI’s Vice President of Geomatics / Principal, Matt Okubo, P.L.S., commended Mr. Jones’s contributions to the firm by stating, “Chris consistently provides outstanding client service and his ability to coordinate with the field crews is exemplary. His efforts will continue to be instrumental to the growth of HFI’s survey and mapping practice and we look forward to his contributions as an associate of the firm.”

Mr. Jones joined HFI in 2005 as a survey chainman. He advanced to project surveyor and was recently promoted to survey and mapping manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Survey Engineering from New Mexico State University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Redlands, and a GPS certificate from the University of California, Riverside. With more than eleven years of experience in the surveying industry, Mr. Jones has performed field and office surveying functions for public and private sector projects throughout Southern California. He is skilled at providing legal descriptions, subdivision mapping, ALTA land title surveys, boundary and alignment surveys, aerial ground control, and topographical surveys, and has taken the lead in implementing HFI’s high definition laser scanning equipment. Mr. Jones is a member of the Los Angeles Professional Practices Committee, a corporate member of the California Land Surveyor’s Association, and Chair of the College of the Canyons Land Surveying Program Advisory Board. He also served as a founding member of the Channel Islands Joint Professional Practices Committee.
