MINNEAPOLIS - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Join co-hosts Ronald A. Edwards (Black Focus) and Don Allen (IBNN NEWS and Black Politics in Minneapolis for a program about what's happening in Minneapolis and the continuation of beating minorities by the Minneapolis Police. The program starts tonight at 8:30 p.m. (CST) - to listen, click here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theronanddonshow/2014/07/31/the-beating-of-alfred-flowers-by-minneapolis-police.

The first time this story hit the Internet, it was published by the Independent Business News Network in Minneapolis, Minn. The Star Tribune contacted the founder of IBNN, Don Allen and asked to get plugged in with some phone numbers and reliable sources. Allen thought this would be a great trade for his online presence and asked the report to give IBNN some credit; she agreed, but of course it never happened.

Former Minneapolis mayor R.T. Rybak set the current mold for this mockery of the black body in Minneapolis while then city council member Betsy Hodges played along with the game. When the city of Minneapolis Disparity Report was issued in October of 2010, there was no mention of “equity” by councilperson Hodges; there wasn’t even a peep about corrective action demanded by a report the city paid in excess of $500k for. But yet, all of a sudden, mayor Hodges and her glorious band of “band-aides” think the new buzzword for residents of Minneapolis is “equity.” She’s wrong, her handlers are wrong and the city of Minneapolis is their total arrogance is totally wrong to assume a word will fix the generational failures within the city to the point of having “bragging” rights as if Minneapolis is some safe haven filled with working people, fair collaborations and a city government that serves its people.

The city and the mayor of “mayhem” (Minneapolis) have missed the mark in attempting to solve problems with overworking tired out strategies such as assisting the poor black people in north Minneapolis get jobs and an education. The Minneapolis Police Department sees it differently. Minneapolis has created a town that gives law enforcement the license to put everyone in a barrel, let’s call it a black barrel for black folks and stereotype every black person as if Minneapolis is an recurring episode of America’s Most Wanted (Bad Boys, Bad Boys, what you going to do when they come for you?).

Tune in tonight - the phone lines will be open at (347) 426-3904.
