Pants on Fire Press announces they will move towards Digital-First publishing after signing with an experienced eBook distributor. With this distribution partnership, POFP’s engaging collection of titles will be more accessible than ever before. The transition will officially begin on August 1st
for new titles as the award-winning publishing house commits to becoming entirely digital. Of course, if there is demand for a specific title, POFP will continue to work to make it available in print.
Along with the change in medium, POFP will shift its focus to Young Adult and Adult acquisitions;
the press’ website includes updated submission guidelines for prospective authors. Though POFP will focus on YA and Adult titles to cater to a broad spectrum of audiences, they will continue to review Middle-Grade submissions. As Pants on Fire Press makes the commitment to Digital-First publishing and include an older demographic, POFP’s remains committed to furthering its authors’ careers by working with its agents to sell first and secondary rights to large publishers, foreign presses, and movie studios.
Keep an eye out for Pants on Fire Press and its catalogue of diverse and talented authors as the celebrated publishing house moves on to bigger and better things by transitioning and adjusting its focus to include Adult novels.
