WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - Aug. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Fitting in in middle school isn’t easy, especially if you’re an alien from a faraway planet! Earth-based publisher Pants On Fire Press is excited to announce the release of author Michelle Brown’s first work, Tales of an Alien Invader.  Brown’s middle grade novel plunges readers into the humorous yet relatable sci-fi account of a young alien, Felix Winters, sent to Earth to complete a scouting mission. As if receiving a new body and leaving his family and home planet behind weren’t enough, eleven-year-old Winters faces a trio of bullies at his new middle school as well as a suspicious outsider eager to expose Winters’ alien origins.

Michigan native and Author Michelle Brown draws on her long-abiding love of space and science fiction as well as her experience teaching high school English to spin a spellbinding story that is guaranteed to keep students turning pages late into the night. Brown’s knack for adventure and smooth sense of humor combine to produce a compelling tale of baseball, best friends, bullies, and an alien from Bopton who is beginning to realize that he might not have everyone fooled.  Pants on Fire Press is thrilled to welcome Brown’s debut novel Tales of an Alien Invader to its stellar collection of engaging, exciting, and educational children’s books.

Now available in Paperback and coming October 7, 2014 to eBook and Hardcover.
