Patrik Wheater Joins Image Line Communications

LONDON - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Patrik Wheater has joined leading media consultancy Image Line Communications as Public Relations Manager, Maritime, Offshore & Energy. He will manage the company's new maritime, offshore and energy division.

Patrik has over 16 years' experience communicating the technical and operational aspects of the global maritime and offshore industries, many of which have been spent as editor of leading maritime publications, including Shipping World & Shipbuilder and Marine Engineers' Review (MER).

Prior to his journalistic career, he served in the marine engineering branch of Her Majesty's Royal Navy, after which he read History at Kingston University.

Patrik Wheater’s appointment now brings Image Line’s PR team up to full strength following the appointment late in 2013 of Mike Godfrey as Head of PR for the company’s transport and logistics clients.

Mike Godfrey is a former journalist and PR consultant with more than 35 years of working in the UK, mainland Europe, the USA and Far East for a variety of transport, logistics, energy and retail clients. Over the past year Mike has worked with Sue Terpilowski to restructure the Image Line PR department to provide clients with unrivalled expertise, experience and media relations in the maritime and logistics sectors.
