ASHEBORO, N.C. - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) announced that Asheboro, NC, elder law and special needs law attorney Robert A. Mason, CELA, has been named to the prestigious Council of Advanced Practitioners and entitled to the use of the “CAP” designation. The Council of Advanced Practitioners is an invitation-only group of senior elder law attorneys who are recognized as innovators of the profession and are instrumental in leading the future of elder law.

“There are less than 100 people nationally with this designation, and I am incredibly proud to be in that group,” explained Mason. What really excites Mason is “that the folks in this group play on a whole different level, and being a part of this pool of ideas and talent is really humbling and challenging.”

Mason, one of the first attorneys in North Carolina to be designated a Board Certified Specialist in Elder Law by the NC State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, is also a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, past Chairman of the Elder Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, Chairman of Hospice of Randolph County, North Carolina, and a frequent speaker on elder and disabilities law issues.
