Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery In Wilmslow Rated "Good" by Ofsted

WILMSLOW, U.K. - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- The UK's largest Day Nursery Franchise, Monkey Puzzle Nurseries, has continued it's most successful year to date, with yet another positive rating from Ofsted.

The Wilmslow preschool, owned and operated by Liz Butterworth, narrowly missed out on an "outstanding" rating, but have already introduced measures that will ensure the top rating after Ofsted's next visit.

Commenting on the latest report Liz said, "I am very proud of all the hard work the management and staff have put in to secure a very positive Ofsted rating. We want all the children in our care to receive the most stimulating preschool education, so that when the time comes and they move on to primary school, they are fully equipped socially and academically."

The Ofsted report highlighted the key factors in reaching their decision.

• Children enjoy a wide range of activities that challenge and stimulate them.   They are fully engaged throughout their time at the nursery.

• Teaching is good because staff understand how to promote children's learning.They successfully tailor activities to meet children's next steps in development and therefore, children progress swiftly.

• Children's safety and well-being are effectively promoted. Thorough risk assessments are in place to protect children from hazards and staff work in partnership with parents to find out about any specific requirements.

• The nursery is led by a strong management team. All staff benefit from regular training and mentoring. Consequently, children are cared for by staff who are knowledgeable, confident and enthusiastic about their role.

Owner, Liz has already begun improving the two areas that prevented the day nursery gaining an outstanding rating and is confident that following their next inspection there will only be one outcome - outstanding!
