To date, over 3,000 jobs have been posted by the 55 companies who will be present and ready to hire. The jobs range from HR, IT, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing and Operations. As thousands of active duty Military return to civilian life, it is vitally important that the skills, abilities, experience and leadership these men and women have in great abundance be used to the fullest extent possible. Companies appreciate the work ethic, character and dedication taught in the Military and will be transferred as a critical asset for these corporations.

We are very proud that this event features so many companies with active job openings and that all of the companies have committed to having hiring managers onsite to conduct mini-interviews with qualified candidates. We are also gratified to see that extremely senior leaders with large and mid-sized companies are dedicating time and effort to hone their skills at hiring Military and their spouses. The willingness of these leaders to share best practices with their peers is a real testament to how serious they are about Veteran employment."
Senior business executives and heads of Human Resources will share best practices on sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, mentoring, training, integrating, and retaining these Military personnel through a moderated roundtable discussion. Following the breakfast roundtable, a Hiring Fair featuring approximately 55 major and mid-sized fast growing companies actively seeking Military to fill current jobs will be held in DBU’s Great Hall. Resumes will be uploaded and available for the hiring companies to select qualified candidates to meet the needs of their organization.
"The response from the DFW business community has been heartwarming. We maxed out very quickly. We now have 55 major employers who will man tables. Over a dozen are accepting resumes electronically. Getting the word out to our military is our biggest focus right now. We need current military, former military and military spouses to know about this opportunity. We are asking for help from civic, military, business and religious groups. Please help us get the word out", shared David Hamilton, Founder of The America's Future Series.
