Glenferrie Lodge New Renovations Complete

MILSONS POINT, Australia - July 29, 2014 - PRLog -- 15 January 2014 – Sydney, Australia. Glenferrie Lodge budget accommodation in Kirribilli has recently finalized major renovations and refurbishments of bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas. As part of an ongoing effort, the hotel’s spent thousands of AUD on improving the quality, standards and experience for hotel guests.

The renovations have included replacement of all prior beds with Sealy Pillow Top Mattresses and installing safes in each room. New refrigerators have been installed, that comprise thermoelectric silencers. The hotel rooms and communal area carpets have been replaced with modern boutique style designs, designed for long term traffic and for noise reduction. Each of the bathrooms have received new fixtures and tiling, with more economical plumbing that also decreases noise between adjoining rooms. Throughout the whole building, brand new LED lighting has been installed, creating a more attractive visual of accent pieces including lamps, tables and chairs. The large communal garden area also received attention with a play area for kids and comfortable outdoor furniture.

Glenferrie Lodge was acquired by the Cramley Group, owners of the nearby Cremorne Point Manor hotel in Cremorne Point, on 3 December 2013. As founder Jean Claude Branch validates “The renovations started immediately so we could attract more budget travelers. Not only have we completed these renovations on time, but also repainted the Lodge interior and exterior, while also renovating the breakfast and lounge room buffet area.” He adds “We additionally removed the existing, aging furniture and replaced them with new modern accent pieces. We’re really pleased with the results.”

As a result of the refurbishment, the Lodge has seen a dramatic increase in bookings and attracted more price conscious business travellers based on the hotel’s near proximity to North Sydney business center.
