Andrew MacGill Promoted to Spotlite Vice President of Strategic Development

New position reflects rapid growth of Chicago-based provider of HR and benefits technologies
 
CHICAGO - July 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Spotlite today announced that Andrew MacGill has been promoted to Vice President of Strategic Development. Spotlite is a leading provider of cloud-based technology solutions that enable consumer-driven benefits success for employees, employers, carriers and brokers.

As Vice President of Strategic Development, Andrew is responsible for developing, cultivating and managing Spotlite’s key strategic partnerships. He will work closely with management of Spotlite’s product, technology and sales teams. Andrew was promoted to this new position effective July 14. He was replaced as Vice President, Product by Larry Rubin, a new hire. Andrew reports to Spotlite founder and CEO Chris Hill.

“Andrew has been an invaluable member of the Spotlite team since the company’s inception. As Spotlite has evolved, the range of Andrew’s activities has expanded. Our continued rapid growth now requires that Andrew focus his attention on business development activities including identifying and developing new markets, partnerships and distribution channels,” said Chris.

Prior to joining Spotlite as Director of Product in 2011, Andrew worked as a product engineer at PerkSpot, Spotlite’s sister company. PerkSpot is a leading online perks and rewards platform now serving 3.5 million employees at large employers including Walgreens, Southwest Airlines and DIRECTV. Earlier, Andrew cofounded PeerSight, an advisory system for small businesses which was sold in 2008. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
