According to Dr. Alok Kumar of MOGA’s Southaven office: “We are confident that Dr. Lee is going to be a strong asset to both MOGA and the north Mississippi community. He comes to us with local roots as a product of White Station High School, and with strong credentials as a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Medicine.”
Dr. Lee graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2003 with a B.A. in Physics. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2010 and recently completed his residency. At the conclusion of his residency, he was recognized as a co-recipient of the “Outstanding Resident in Gynecology” award by the university.
Dr. Lee has been married for seven years and his wife works as an engineer for MedTronic. Outside of the office, they enjoy traveling, and their favorite destination is Banff, Canada. They attend Highpoint Church in Memphis. Dr. Lee also enjoys fly-fishing, cooking, grilling, and reading. He is a second-generation physician; his father practiced at the West Clinic in Memphis.
Regarding his new position, Lee states: “I am looking forward to getting to know the people of Southaven and north Mississippi. This area is rapidly developing, and I can’t think of a better place to begin my career.”
