LoanMart, California’s largest Auto Title Loan Lender, who has a deep roster of Race car drivers, celebrated a double win this past weekend. The LoanMart Racing team was spread across two states with part of the team in Salt Lake City, Utah at Rocky Mountain Raceway as part of the Lucas Oil Modified Racing Circuit and the other half was in San Bernardino, California at Orange Show Speedway as part of the Open Late Model Class.
The first win for team LoanMart Racing came at The Bilstein Shocks Great Salt Lake 75 Presented by Optima Batteries via the veteran driving skills of Shelby Stroebel in West Valley, Utah just 15 minutes outside of Salt Lake City at Rocky Mountain Raceway. Shelby, a Idaho native, made the nearly 5 hour trek down to Utah and was fighting for the checkered flag right from the start. Stroebel was in the front of the pack from early in the race and didn’t let up till the race was over. The 75 lap race had many exciting ups and downs as well as countless yellow flags slowing down the race leader in Stroebel. After a 20 plus minute red flag stoppage, the race resumed and Stroebel was able to hold on for his first win of the season. With six of the ten races in the books, LoanMart Racing is now looking to secure a top five position in the drivers’ championship standings.
The second win of the weekend came at the newly reopened Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, California. This race featured two LoanMart Racing drivers, Linny White and Brandon Loverock. Dealing with mechanical issues, Loverock missed all the practice sessions and was not able to compete in the heat races and had to start the race in the back of the pack. As the race went on, White was battling mid pack as teammate Brandon Loverock was pushing from behind. The #25 LoanMart car of Loverock was on a mission this last Saturday as he pushed through all the traffic to take the lead and ultimately hold on for the win. This win was number two of the season for Loverock and LoanMart in the Open Late Model Class.
The rest of team LoanMart Racing heads to Glen Helen Raceway this upcoming weekend as part of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. For more info, check out LoanMartRacing.com and follow us on social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @LoanMart.
