Asian Market Highlighted at the Private Equity Conference Sponsored by LDJ Capital in Harvard Club

NEW YORK - July 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Asia and its booming market continue to receive stellar attention from investors and received the focus it deserves at the AVCJ Private Equity Conference on Tuesday, 9 July 2014 at the prestigious Harvard Club in New York City.

David Drake, chairman and founder of LDJ Capital and The Soho Loft, was invited to join the discussion of Asia and North America’s leading private equity professionals in this exciting international investor, family office, and private equity conference. General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs) from all around the globe including China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Europe flew in early and joined this exciting conference set just after the July 4th holiday weekend.

LDJ Capital supported this conference where Dan Farrell, Chairman and CEO of Privos Capital, led the panel discussion on global family offices and private equity. “This rare meeting and discussion, where Asia and North America’s private equity professionals convened, have shown what makes Asia so appealing to foreign investors today,” Drake says.

Over 150 attendees from 10 countries participated in this Asian-focused conference. Of this number, 48 percent were limited partners and 52 percent, general partners. A total of 35 individuals served as speakers.

Participants have improved their chances of raising funds with institutional investors who are ardent about taking advantage of Asia’s private equity markets. They were also able to join the ‘snapshot’ sessions that took them around Asia’s hot spots where key industries looking for investments are found.

Those who have attended also gained crucial insights from the GPs of Asia as they discussed about the changes to private equity regulation and other exit strategies that have faster returns.
