The show will focus more on brokerage so one would expect a lot of yacht brokers present in the event. The show opens at 10am and ends at 5pm displaying yachts of different sizes. The marina can hold 50 feet yachts up to 120 feet yachts which are expected to arrive anytime within the next two weeks in time for the show. Aside from the yachts that are on display, there will also be luxury goods available for sale for the duration of the show. The Sydney superyacht show will be one of the few yacht shows in the country which will allow yacht owners and yacht builders as well as brokers from all over the country to introduce their services as well as showcase the latest yacht models and designs to the guests and attendees. The Sydney superyacht marina sponsored the event along with different yacht brokers from the region. Geoff Lovett International as well as the Australian Superyachts contributed to the sponsorship of the event Other sponsors include the Ocean media as well as the Sevenstar Yacht transport and the DYT yacht transport. The event has been supported by the Superyacht industry association and Superyacht Sydney – NSW. Boat enthusiasts and locals can come to the show, however, the tickets to the Sydney superyacht show is limited so it is advisable to secure a ticket to the show early on. Free entrance however, is given to guests that had been qualified or invited by a broker as well as a selection of people who have VIP invitations. The Sydney superyacht show will also showcase the redevelopment of the Sydney Superyacht marina which has been improved to accommodate more yachts as the capacity of the marina has been increased to accommodate yachts as large as 70 meters in length. The redesigning of the marina has 2 stages and the construction for the first stage has been started last June 2013 and construction will be on going for a year just in time for the August event. The marina will include different buildings that houses businesses associated with superyahcts as well as facilities for refitting, marine offices, retail stores as well as restaurants and cafés among others. This strives for development is a good sign of the steady growth of the yachting industry in the region. Read more on luxury yacht shows @ http://www.shipandocean.com/ End
