Video Surveillance Security Now Offered by AVIT

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - July 25, 2014 - PRLog -- The minority owned IT firm AVIT Systems has just announced it is partnering with Lorex Technologies to introduce IP based video surveillance solutions for residential and commercial spaces. The move is expected to greatly expand the reach of AVIT services to the home and office sector. It also is projected to compete with other moves within the industry to modernize video monitoring equipment for home and business security purposes (e.g., Google's recent purchase of the Dropcam video monitoring service). Lorex sees the future of surveillance systems being intimately connected to IT functionality, as provided by AVIT at this time.

A key consideration for the move, say observers, is to improve the reliability and quality of monitoring systems, while reducing costs for managing the system. Representatives say this ties in well with the general mission. “We strive every day to provide professional service, personal attention, and customer satisfaction,”   states the AVIT owner. “This is what I would expect from any business to provide to me and therefore this is what we will provide to you.  I started this company as a minority because I believe it is important to make sure everyone has equal opportunity to be successful and take advantage of what our country has to offer.”

The company is emphasizing this point in its current online campaign to build greater awareness of its IT service as it crosses over into a related and emerging market. The intricacy of surveillance systems, given the preference of many clients or homeowners to increase the number of cameras and monitoring points, increasingly requires a coordinating system to integrate and manage those points of surveillance smoothly. Those systems may include both video, or the newer thermal camera systems. Depending on the complexity, it is increasingly felt that IT integration is the best practical or economical solution.

AVIT’s current security surveillance systems include an indoor-outdoor camera set, wireless security system equipment for smaller environments, larger security suites with 16 channel central monitors, and other customized options. The company notes the partnership is a means of better facilitating a unique arrangement per each client, and says “choosing the best fit for your needs is important.  We will come to you to survey your location and discuss your concerns to be sure our solution is the right one for you.”
