Rothschild Corporation Notes Anniversary of its WBENC Certification

HOUSTON - July 25, 2014 - PRLog -- The Houston-based Rothschild Corporation announces with excitement that it continues to build on its achievement as a woman and minority owned company and that supplies strategic consultation and project management assistance to organizations within its region. The company notes it has been awarded Women Business Enterprise certification by WBENC (Women's Business Enterprise National Council) since mid-2013, and maintains that certification at present (WBENC certificate number is 2005122805). They expect this status will help them further their mission to assist businesses in the transitional events and growth improvement as organizations.

A key consideration for the inclusion of an organization onto WBENC’s list for certification, or membership in the local WBEA, is its demonstrated commitment to “world-class leadership in partnering with women's business enterprises to sustain innovation in this country and fuel our economic growth,” according to Linda Denny, WBENC president and CEO.  Companies like the Rothschild Corporation, she notes, “are deeply committed to supplier diversity programs that span their organizations and achieve measurable results.” Member organizations must also be 51% owned, managed or controlled by women.

The Rothschild Corporation expects the notoriety of the WBENC certification to help it perform its consultation function with greater authority. This significant endorsement, coming from the leading third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women, with more than 12,000 WBENC-Certified WBEs, quickly establishes the credibility of the firm in assisting like-minded organizations dedicated to diversity as well as growth. It also represents a progress for a newer model for business development, said representatives, one that is concerned as much with greater community representation and individual achievement by both genders, as it is about the bottom line.

The company believes that as the role of diversity and diversity consulting is further introduced into business, companies will be able to better relate to both their local communities and more fully with the marketplace. They will supply goods and services to a more fully engaged demographic that shares in the success of the organizations due to the makeup of their staff and partners. Its website states that other projects emphasized by the Corporation include employee and resource management, brand creation and development, leadership training and creating “a strategic alliance in the e-learning environment, enabling it to offer a more extensive learning management system that will track employees from pre-hire to retire.”
