A certain level of artistry evolves when you combine Pop, R&B, and Rock, with trumpet, piano, bass, and one man. Singer/songwriter/producer T.L. Williams is a voice for a new generation. While redefining today’s music T.L. has found a way to weave together extreme varieties of musical genres and instrumentation to create a new fusion of true music. Born and raised in the west suburbs of Chicago, T. L. Williams started picking up the keys to success as early as age 4; watching his family's band rehearse in his west suburban Bellwood home. After being introduced to piano by his father, it wasn't long before T.L. was playing everything from Stevie Wonder to Ludwig Van Beethoven. T. L. soon became one of the top musicians in the state, earning him a chance to play and receive tutelage from one Wynton Marsalis. Not to mention gracing the stage with the likes of The Wu-Tang Clan, Friendly Fires, Twista, & Herbie Hancock. Continuing in his career T.L. soon picked up the elements of music production and began producing for seminal music figures such as Rhymefest, & Public Announcement. "Under his newly formed production company "Storm Chaser Entertainment", and with the help of his management team "The Wil'Da Group", T.L. has released his debut LP "Life In Your Mid 20's”. T.L. was also graced with the privileged to have been under the wing of legendary producer Carl Davis. Davis is widely known for his work with artist such as Jackie Wilson, Mary Wells, and the Chi-Lites, as well as chart topping singles “Your Love Keeps Lifting Me” and “Duke of Earl”. Davis took a hands-on approach in helping to mold T.L. into the artist he is today. Before his passing in 2012 Davis gave T.L. exclusive rights to reproduce 10 of his greatest hits. T.L. plans to release these remakes on a tribute album later on in his career. www.whoistlwilliams.com
