GN Multi-functional Mud Systems for HDD, CBM and Diamond Core Drilling

LANGFANG, China - July 24, 2014 - PRLog -- This is a Multi-functional 350GPM mud system GN Solids Control recently manufactured a Hong Kong client. Per client’s requirements, this system has several unique designs, which enables this mud system to work for more than one applications like for HDD, CBM and Diamond Core Drilling.

Different Requests between HDD and CBM Mud Systems?

Although they are both drilling works and both in need of mud recycling systems, HDD drilling and CBM drilling’s standards for mud recycling are not at same level. Comparably, for HDD projects, the mud recycling system is more complicated and treated mud is finer than CBM or Piling. That’s why, in most HDD mud systems, there is a desilter, while in piling or CBM, systems are smaller and usually1 set of shale shaker is enough.

What Equipments Used in this GN Mud Treating System?

On top of tank, there are 3 main equipments:

1.       GNZS Shale shaker as first step separation device.

2.       GNZJ-6N desilter with under drying shaker and corresponding feeding pump GNSB centrifugal pump in case of HDD projects, this equipment will be used.

3.       GNLW223-VFD decanter centrifuge and its feeding pump, mainly for further treatment in diamond core drilling projects.

4.       GNSLS mixing hopper and its feeding pump.

5.       Mud tank in several compartments, for reserving and tank attachments including ladders etc.

6.       Hydraulic jacking system for the whole system, which enables the system to be easily portable.
