In 1970, Grand Bahama Island became part of the district by a Rotary International Presidential decision. As part of the largest international service organization in the world, Rotarians specialize in providing humanitarian services to our neighborhoods, our youth, our members’ vocations and to the world we live in. District 6990 is a tropical paradise, home to more than 2,000 Rotarians belonging to over 50 clubs. It is one of the most unique Districts in the Rotary world!
