Elite Decoding Software Now Supports an Expanding Array of DynamicSignals SIGINT Equipment

Krypto500 decoding suite available on Signatec Xilinx Virtex FPGA DSP high-speed digitizers

PRLog - Jul. 24, 2014 - BOZEMAN, Mont. -- COMINT Consulting announced that their Krypto500 and Krypto1000 software suites are now available for integration with the DynamicSignals wideband spectrum analysis platform featuring the high-performance COTS digitizer products by GaGe and signal waveform recording and playback systems by Signatec.

SIGINT customer demands led to integration with DynamicSignals’ customizable Signatec Xilinx Virtex FPGA DSP high-speed digitizer boards, but the SIGINT possiblities don't end there.

The DC8G100 and DC20G100 cover up to 8 GHz and 20 GHz respectively, both with 100 MHz of baseband I and Q output bandwidth.  These downconverter products, when combined with GaGe High Speed Digitizers and Signatec recording systems, allow for complete real-time signal recording and analysis systems covering frequencies up to 20GHz. When mated with Krypto500, SIGINT experts can analyze, classify and decode narrowband signals from ELF-SHF; and wideband signals from VHF-SHF using Krypto1000.

Krypto500 and Krypto1000 provide unequalled signal classification and decoding power when paired with the DC8G100/DC20G100, a cost-effective wireless SIGINT platform which includes features normally found only in high-end laboratory spectrum analyzers and data acquisition systems.

“Technological progress in SIGINT systems has been minimal over the past 20 years,” said the president of COMINT Consulting. “We are monumentally expanding our capabilities in collection and analysis using highly detailed software coupled with sophisticated digitizers and the DC20G100 receiver. This offers Allied forces and their partners safer, more successful missions in every circumstance they face.”

Krypto500 and Krypto1000 were designed by former SIGINT officers to provide decoding and demodulation capabilities that far surpass the legacy approach to decoding that has dominated the SIGINT industry for years. It provides in-depth, unequaled signal classification that specifically categorizes nearly 4,000 signaling systems while identifying specific equipment, specific variants and sub-modes of that equipment – and specific users.

The Krypto500 and Krypto1000 suites include hundreds of verified and current decoders, surpassing the leading software by more than double the decoders, with more modes added each month.
