Throughout the online magazine, one can find video interviews and blog posts from celebrity and expert golfers as well as from health and fitness experts and trainers. Topics will range from health and fitness to the overall athlete appealing to the avid golfer as well as someone that is at a beginner level.
“I wanted to start this publication because there is a tremendous need for a better understanding of how biomechanics and strength and conditioning plays an important part in a person swinging a club 90+ mph to hit a ball and try to make it go straight and long,” says founder of GPFM, Dave Davis. “The golf world has embraced fitness, but they only dedicate a very small percentage towards it. I want to provide a venue for all golf fitness instructors to voice their theories and skill sets in a environment that fosters and caters 100% towards the machine (the human body) that creates speed, power and consistency to the club which hits the ball.”
As a specialist and leading provider and writer of golf-performance conditioning, Davis takes pride in offering golf biomechanics assessments and strength and conditioning training. His philosophy focusing on two things: the uniqueness of each individual and creating a functional training environment that will be conducive and productive to enhance a positive change. He is dedicated to serving the needs of his customers each and every day.
The website has a “eat, live, breath golf” motto with encouragement and advice ranging from recommended equipment to training patterns for both men and women golfers. Overall, the website promotes the sport of golf including health and performance.
