CityMD to Sponsor 3 Day Startup NYC’s Summer 2014 Program

NEW YORK - July 24, 2014 - PRLog -- The New York City arm of 3 Day Startup (“3DS NYC”), a nonprofit organization teaching entrepreneurial skills to students and entrepreneurs, announced today CityMD will be sponsoring the nonprofits summer program focused on teaching students how to launch tech companies. CityMD is a rapidly growing urgent health care provider in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens,  Long Island, and Rockland County; hotspots for entrepreneurial talent such as 3 Day Startup NYC trains up to three times per year.

The urgent care provider recently opened their first location in Yonkers,  an area experiencing sharp increases in entrepreneurial talent and an upcoming breeding ground for newly minted startups. “We are excited that CityMD is sponsoring our summer program,” said Desiree Frieson, lead organizer for 3DS NYC. “It is important to have them as a sponsor because they provide the types of quality and accessible care on-the-go entrepreneurs need. I can see them being a big hit about the city’s most influential technopreneurs and we see this as a win win relationship.  I hope to work with them in the future on student focused health related ventures.”

The 3 Day Startup NYC programs marks the first-time CityMD has sponsored an entrepreneurial program for young tech hopefuls. Other supporters of 3DS NYC include Bitcoin Center NYC, Hive at 55 run by the Downtown Alliance of New York, MAIP, an umbrella program of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and local universities and colleges that helped recruit students and professionals for the current program.
