Smith as Of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Smith will be leading the worker’s compensation practice as well as continuing his efforts to grow the personal injury practice.

Mr. Smith brings years of litigation experience throughout the State of North Carolina, with deep experience in front of the Industrial Commission and North Carolina Court of Appeals. He has served as Senior Associate with the Law Office of D. Hardison Wood since January 2011. He is a certified Worker’s Compensation Specialist with the NC Bar. Originally from Boston, Mr. Smith relocated to North Carolina in 1996.

Adam A. Smith received his Bachelor’s Degree cum laude in Political Science from Duke University and received the W.B. McGuire scholarship to attend the Duke University School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Journal of Gender Law & Policy and received his Juris Doctor in 2003.
