Kalkitech wins ‘India’s Small Giants Award’

BANGALORE, India - July 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Kalki Communication Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Kalkitech), a niche technology company providing communication and optimization solutions for the Smart Grid, was recognised with the prestigious ‘India’s Small Giants Award’ instituted by India SME Forum and supported by NDTV and Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). With this award, Kalkitech enters the elite club of Top 40 SMEs in India. Prasanth Gopalakrishnan, CEO of Kalkitech, received the award from the honourable Union Minister for MSME, Mr. Kalraj Mishra on July 11, 2014 at The Suryaa, Delhi.

Kalkitech was recently also ranked among the ‘Top 100 SMEs of India’ from over 60,000 nominations received from across the country. The selection involved clearing the stringent evaluation processes and criteria in the areas of Innovation, Governance and Financial strength. The SME 100 Awards recognises top performing Indian SMEs, to create increased awareness of the importance of SME development in the country. The awards also hope to inspire and support high potential SMEs become excellent enterprises, by offering them a platform to promote themselves to investors and partners. The India SME 100 Awards felicitation ceremony was held on July 05, 2014 at the Lalit, Mumbai.
